You can say the following:
(1) 日本(にほん)のアニメにインスパイアされて、漫画(まんが)を描(か)いています。
Nihon no anime ni insupaia sarete, manga o kaiteimasu.
I draw manga based on inspiration from Japanese anime.

(2) 日本(にほん)のアニメに影響(えいきょう)を受(う)けて、漫画(まんが)を描(か)いています。
Nihon no anime ni eikyoo o ukete, manga o kaiteimasu.
I draw manga based on influences by Japanese anime.

In phrase (1), insupaia sarete means “inspired by”. It’s often used in art-related fields. Insupaia is directly translated from the English word “inspire”. To say it in Japanese, it is eikyoo o ukete, which means “influenced by”.
