Indeed, Japan has many beautiful places that one can visit. My personal favourites are Kamikochi at Nagano prefecture, Shirakawago at Gifu prefecture, and Hakone at Kanagawa prefecture. You can say the following:
Nihon niwa kireina tokoro ga takusan arimasu
There are many beautiful places in Japan.
Kirei means “beautiful” and tokoro means “place(s)”. You can combine them and say kireina tokoro (beautiful places).
