Question
I’m going to Japan next week for my long-awaited holiday! I heard that the menus are all in Japanese and I’m worried about ordering food in restaurants since I don’t know any Japanese. How do I ask if the restaurant has an English menu?

英語(えいご)のメニューは ありますか。
Eego no menyuu wa arimasuka?
Do you have an English menu?

It’s great to be traveling again. Eego no menyuu is “English menu” and “~ wa arimasuka” means “do you have ~?” “~ wa arimasuka” a useful expression for traveling.

You can use this phrase to ask the store clerk for an item you are looking for or in your case, to ask for an English menu. Just replace ~ with the name of the product you want. Enjoy your trip!
